Hey heyheyheyhey, how’s it goin’ today guys, Gatlin here from CarPhonix with a quick little video here today featuring my pal Craig to show you a slick custom car modification.
You might recognize Craig – this isn’t the first time he’s been on this channel. He’s the man behind Bonsai Rides, a company that handles most of the JDM and RHD imports that show up here in London. He’s brought some way cool stuff into the shop over the years, including a 1992 Mazda AutoZam.
If you’re into JDM wheels and you’re looking for something unique to drive, Craig’s your guy.
Anyway, Craig’s ride today is a Volvo SUV, not quite as exciting as the usual stuff, but we’re still going to have some fun with it.
So, Craig’s not a big fan of the shifter booth this thing came with. And yeah, that’s not a car audio job, but it’s still something we can do.
The plan is to remove the weird wrinkly black thing that’s on there, and replace it with a vintage Crown Royal bag from the ’60’s. You’ll see us have some fun with arts and crafts time getting this thing to fit, but it’s a fun little mod.
Believe it or not, we’re still going to be mucking around with some electronics here anyway.
Anyway enough of me yammering on about it – watch the video below to see for yourself.
