Story Time! My New Chevy Silverado And A Remote Starter Install

And, we’re back!

You might notice something different about our video today. That’s right, your old pal Gatlin got himself a new camera. It’s a Canon G7X, so all of ya can enjoy some high-quality audio and video from the friendly faces here at Carphonix.

Another thing you might notice is the Chevrolet truck sitting behind me. Yup, that’s mine. Why am I driving a Chevy now? If you’ve been following my channel for a while, you probably know my feelings on it. But basically, Ford F-150’s are absolute garbage.

I’ve owned two of them, and I’m utterly disappointed in more than one way.

The first time I bought one it had a door lock actuator issue. That was a known issue so there was a recall, but when I brought mine in they didn’t have the parts to repair it.

…okay? But I’m not going to drive around all day with bungee cords holding my door shut, so I went to the Ford dealership in St. Thomas, and purchased a 2018 F-150. They reassured me up and down that this problem was fixed, and you’d assume it would work now, right?

Anyway, I had so many problems with this truck, and this dealership jerked me around so much, that I said forget it and ended up taking on another payment with the Chevrolet truck you see behind me.

So enough about the bums, I’m going to take you on a tour of this truck. It’s a 2018 Chevy Silverado.
