My friends, my homies, my internet family, it’s me once again, your pal Gatlin from Carphonix Car Audio, THE place to be for anyone who wants a killer car electronics upgrade to their ride.
What am I talking about today?
Well, it’s a different video than usual. We’re not talking about stereos, or remote starters, or alarms, none of that stuff.
We’re talking about doors.
No, not installing any cool new doohickey in your door. I’m talking about the regular, plain old, everyday job a door is supposed to do.
What does a door do?
That’s not a trick question – it opens and closes.
That’s how it works on most cars, trucks, houses, stores, airplanes, and anywhere else with walls you want to walk in and out of.
When you close a door, it’s supposed to stay closed. You rely on it working properly when you’re going to bed at night, when you’re getting to your shop in the morning, and most importantly, when you’re traveling at 100 kilometres per hour down the highway.
I don’t know when the first door was invented, but I bet they’ve been around for a while.
I guess Ford didn’t get the memo though, since the Ford F-150’s doors don’t close.
Yeah, I’m serious. Take a look at the video below.
Unbelievable, huh?
This happened with their 2016 model too, which is why they upgraded me to a 2018 truck, but it looks like they still haven’t figured it out.
